Throughout pregnancy, labor and delivery, and your postpartum period following childbirth, knowing how to find comfort and relaxation is key to a happy and healthy experience – whether you are planning on a non-medicated or medicated delivery.
This is one of three group Prenatal Preparation and Childbirth classes available. The others are Breastfeeding – Newborn- Postpartum and Childbirth Education (Lamaze). These three classes can be taken individually or as one combined six-hour All in One Platinum Education Class.
This two-hour Relaxation and Comfort Measures class is ideal to take in your second trimester but can be taken in your third as well. Upon completion of of this class, you will have:
- An understanding of where pain comes from and why pain is experienced
- A knowing and understanding your body and working with your bodies 8 senses
- Stress-reducing strategies
- Ways to find comfort when it seems impossible
- Knowledge of positioning
- An understanding of benefits of aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, massage and music
- The role of partner bonding

Cost: Cost is $75 per couple: Open to anyone regardless of the location of delivery or care provider.
What to bring: This is an interactive class – please bring 2 pillows, a mat or beach towel
What to wear: Dress comfortably!

Childbirth Concierge reserves the right to reschedule a class due to inclement weather or low attendance; if you are unable to attend the rescheduled class a full refund will be given.
Cancellation Policy:Full refunds are available up to three (3) days prior to the start date if initiated by the registrant less a 3% fee. If within two days prior or day of class, there is NO refund, but the amount can be applied to another class.
