The Peace of Mind Method™
Kathy Bradley, IBCLC, CBE, CD

From Our Founder
“I believe that when a woman feels safe, heard, and genuinely supported, something powerful happens – she’s able to soften into the uncertainty, find her own rhythm, and grow into motherhood with strength and self-trust. In that protected space, free from judgment or pressure, transformation unfolds naturally.” Kathy Bradley pioneered the Peace of Mind Method™ – a transformative approach to perinatal support.
The Peace of Mind Method™
A clear, compassionate model built around what modern families truly need – practically, emotionally, and instinctively.
P – Personalized Support
Every journey is different. We meet families where they are—with tailored care, not one-size-fits-all plans.
E – Educate to Empower
Knowledge reduces fear. We lead with education that’s relevant, respectful, and rooted in your goals—because empowered families make confident decisions.
A – Access to Trusted Support
From Certified Childbirth Consultants™ and doulas to childbirth educators and lactation support, families receive reliable, compassionate care every step of the way—from planning to postpartum.
C – Continuity of Care
We bridge the gaps in traditional maternity systems by offering ongoing, relationship-based support from pregnancy through postpartum.
E – Empowerment Through Connection
True peace of mind comes from feeling seen, heard, and never alone—supported by a team that walks beside you, not ahead of you.
O – Owning Your Experience
You deserve to be at the center of your care – not just guided, but grounded. Peace of mind means having a say in what matters to you.
F – Following Your Instincts
No book, class, or expert replaces the wisdom within. We help you tune out the noise so you can hear – and trust – yourself.
M – Make Room for What You Feel
There’s no right way to feel on this journey. Birth and parenting stir up big emotions – acknowledge them with compassion, not judgment.
I – Identify What You Need
Clarity starts from within. Whether it’s rest, reassurance, or real information – naming your needs is how you begin to meet them.
N – Nourish Your Inner Voice
Your instincts are valid. We help protect and strengthen that voice so it can guide your decisions with confidence.
D – Decide With Confidence
Whether you’re choosing a provider, setting boundaries, or shaping your birth plan, you can move forward with calm, informed intention
Where it all Began
With over 33 years in the maternal health field, Kathy Bradley is a Certified Childbirth Consultant™, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and respected VBAC specialist. As the founder and visionary behind Childbirth Concierge®, she has pioneered a compassionate, evidence-based approach to supporting growing families and training professionals.
A mother of five herself, Kathy blends clinical expertise with genuine empathy. She spent 14 years in maternal health at Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando, where she earned a reputation for excellence in care. Now serving families across Central Florida and the Space Coast, Kathy offers private consultations, professional education, and lactation support—all grounded in the belief that every parent deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued from the very start.
What Families Face
Even in areas with exceptional clinical care, today’s parents are navigating an entirely new layer of pressure. With the constant stream of online opinions, growing expectations, and decision fatigue brought on by social media, modern motherhood often feels more overwhelming than ever. Many families feel anxious, unseen, or unsure – despite being surrounded by capable providers.
Kathy saw these patterns emerging firsthand. She noticed a gap between what families medically received and what they emotionally needed. Parents weren’t just looking for clinical support – they needed someone to prepare them, advocate for them, and walk alongside them with consistency and calm.
That’s why she created Childbirth Concierge® – to offer a higher-touch, fully integrated model of care that supports families from pregnancy through postpartum, with professionalism, compassion, and peace of mind.
The Support She Created
The model Kathy created through Childbirth Concierge® was designed to fill the emotional and educational gaps too often left by traditional care. Drawing on over three decades of experience, she developed a high-touch, client-centered approach that blends clinical insight with compassion – and trains professionals to deliver that same standard of care.
Kathy actively mentors and equips health professionals to carry out her vision: supporting families with continuity, clarity, and a deep respect for the transformative journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Every touchpoint at Childbirth Concierge® reflects the values she built it on – personalized guidance, expert care, and peace of mind for every family.
In Her Words…
“Peace of mind isn’t a luxury in birth – it’s a foundation.
It doesn’t come from having every answer, but from knowing you’re not alone, supported, and truly seen.” – K.B.

FAQ: Kathy’s Journey & Legacy
We’ve gathered a few of the questions we’re most often asked – about Kathy’s journey, our approach, and what makes this work different. If you’re wondering about something we haven’t covered, we’re always happy to talk it through. No pressure, just real support.
How did your early experiences shape the way you support families today?
My early births taught me that even educated, well-supported parents can walk away from birth feeling confused or unseen. That’s why I focus so much on emotional preparation, clarity, and helping families feel truly heard – not just informed.
What made you want to become a doula in the first place?
A: It all started with the birth of my first daughter in 1989. Despite being educated and prepared, I walked away wondering, “What just happened to me?” That moment – paired with supporting my best friend’s fast labor just months later – sparked something deep in me. I realized I didn’t want to deliver babies – I wanted to be beside the families who were. That’s still what drives me today.
What is your proudest accomplishment in this field?
Watching the ripple effect. The nonprofit I founded, Childbirth Enhancement 501(c)3 Foundation, trained hundreds of doulas – many of whom became midwives and opened birth centers across Florida. I set up and partnered with 14 different hospitals with doula programs. That kind of legacy reminds me this work is bigger than any one of us.
Why did you start Childbirth Concierge®?
After years of training doulas, building programs, and working in hospital settings, I wanted to create something more personal and more scalable – a space where families receive seamless support and professionals are mentored to deliver care with heart and excellence.
What does “Delivering Peace of Mind” mean to you?
It means creating calm in chaos. Whether I’m teaching a new parent how to trust their instincts or training a doula to hold space without judgment, peace of mind is the thread that runs through everything we do.
