We hired Kayla Buttler for our doula and it was the best possible choice for us. She’s kind, responsive, professional, and everything we needed for the birth of our first child and postpartum care. There was only one issue, and it had nothing to do with her- there was an overcharge on a bill that shouldn’t have happened and added a minor stress to our journey. However, it was addressed incredibly promptly and honestly. Childbirth took ownership of the miscommunication and it got resolved very quickly and easily. Overall, we would recommend anyone go with this company. There needs to be a bit better communication with their billing department, but, again, it got resolved well. I cannot recommend Olivia and Childbirth Concierge enough. Olivia truly made my birth experience so positive and memorable. I went into my induction feeling anxious, but she was there every step of the way, offering reassurance, guidance, and a calming presence that made all the difference.

Olivia is incredibly knowledgeable and intuitive. She helped me with positioning throughout labor, even with an epidural which made me feel supported and empowered the entire time. She brought such a sense of peace into the room and helped me stay grounded when I needed it most.

As first time parents, we knew we wanted a doula to help guide us through childbirth. We decided to contact Childbirth Concierge after seeing an ad at our OBGYN’s office and are so thankful we did. The program onboarding and interview process with the doulas was easy, the hard part was picking one as all of the doulas we interviewed were fantastic.

We decided to hire Tina J. and it was one of the best decisions we have made in our journey as parents. She was always one text or phone call away during the prenatal period. In the delivery room, she made all the difference. She explained medical situations as they came up to help us decide the best course of action, she helped me with positioning to ensure I went unmedicated as long as possible, and when I decided to get the epidural, she held me so that the procedure could be done successfully. During the pushing process, she was comforting, supportive, and decisive. She helped me push our son out when I felt I couldn’t do it anymore. She even took pictures so we could remember the moment. I cannot imagine giving birth without the support she provided.

Apart from their doula services, we also contracted with Childbirth Concierge for their lactation consultation services. I met with Kathy B. before giving birth and I attribute my success in breastfeeding to the information she shared with me and the encouraging support she provided.

As neither my wife nor I have family nearby, having additional support after the birth of our daughter was incredibly important to us. We were so fortunate to extend our time with Tina (who was our birth doula) to also be our postpartum doula.

Tina not only helped us catch up on much-needed sleep during her overnight shifts, but she also gently guided us through those early newborn days with thoughtful care and advice. She was even part of our daughter’s very first sponge bath! Minimal tears, and lots of learning!

From our first meeting, we knew Tina was the perfect fit for us. Tina was always available to answer our questions as things came up, kept tabs on our appointments, and was much needed guidance when I went into labor at home. In the delivery room, she was such an essential partner to our team, explaining things as they happened, coaching me through pushing, and even quickly capturing photos for us before our daughter went to the NICU. Looking back, we truly can’t imagine our birth experience without her.
