Upcoming Calm Birth: Tools & Strategies for Pregnancy and Delivery (In Person) Delaney Park Downtown 2024 (1 of 3 Class Series)

Throughout pregnancy, labor and delivery, and your postpartum period following childbirth, knowing how to find comfort and relaxation is key to a happy and healthy experience – whether you are planning on a non-medicated, medicated, natural or surgical delivery.

This is one of three group Prenatal Preparation and Childbirth classes available. The others ar

1. Childbirth Education (Lamaze Type)
2. Baby 101: Postpartum & Newborn Class

These three classes can be taken individually or as one combined six-hour All in One Platinum Education Class.  

In this two-hour  Class we will focus on tools and techniques to  increase your Relaxation and Comfort Measures. This is ideal to take in your second trimester but can be taken in your third as well.  Upon completion of of this class, you will have:

• An understanding of where pain comes from and why pain is experienced
• A knowing and understanding your body and working with your bodies 8 senses
• Stress-reducing strategies
• Ways to find comfort when it seems impossible
• Knowledge of positioning
• An understanding of benefits of aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, massage and music
• The role of partner bonding

Cost: Cost is $35 per couple: Open to anyone regardless of the location of delivery or care provider.

What to bring: This is an interactive class –  please bring 2 pillows.

What to wear: Dress comfortably!

Class Policy: Information provided in this setting is for educational purposes only and not meant to substitute medical care.  Childbirth Concierge reserves the right to reschedule a class due to inclement weather or low attendance; if you are unable to attend the rescheduled class a full refund will be given. 

Cancellation Policy:Full refunds are available up to three (3) days prior to the start date if initiated by the registrant less a 3% fee.  If within two days prior or day of class, there is NO refund, but the amount can be applied to another class.
