We emphasize natural labor tools and techniques, but we also cover epidurals and other medical interventions to ensure you’re prepared if needed.

What to Expect in Class 2 – Childbirth Education Core (Lamaze-Style) Class

Our Childbirth Class Orlando is ideal for expectant parents, whether it’s their first child or they need a refresher. In this engaging three-hour course, you’ll learn:

• When to Go to Your Birth Facility: Understand the signs of labor and when it’s time to head to your birthing location.
• Stages and Phases of Labor: Discover labor support techniques that help during each phase.
• Comfort and Relaxation Techniques: Gain knowledge of various strategies, including breathing exercises, movement, and positioning. (For hands on practice and deeper focus on comfort, consider our separate two-hour relaxation class.)
• Medical Interventions: Learn about epidurals, C-sections, and other interventions so you know what to expect.
• Immediate Postpartum Expectations: Set realistic expectations for the first moments after birth.

• Cost: $75 per couple, open to all regardless of delivery location or care provider.
• What to Bring: 1-2 pillows for comfort, along with a snack or drink if desired.
• What to Wear: Comfortable clothing for hands-on activities.
• Private Customized Classes: Available in-home for an additional cost.

• Class Policy: This class is for educational purposes only and is not intended to replace medical advice. Classes may be rescheduled due to weather or low attendance; a full refund will be offered if you cannot attend the rescheduled class.
• Cancellation Policy: Full refunds (minus a 3% fee) are available up to seven days before the start date. No refunds are provided after the class has begun.

Childbirth Concierge encourages families to be empowered about their labor choices.  Designed to support you to feel prepared and confident when birthing, this class has a strong focus on the benefits and tools for natural labor, yet also covers epidural use and interventions should they become medically necessary.  

This is one of three group Prenatal Preparation and Childbirth classes available. The others are Breastfeeding – Newborn- Postpartum and Relaxation and Comfort Measures.  These three classes can be taken individually or as one combined six-hour All in One Platinum Education Class.  

This three-hour childbirth/lamaze style course is for expectant parents/couples, regardless if it is your first baby or if you are needing a refresher.  Upon completion of of this class, you will have:

• An understanding of knowing when to go to your birth facility
• The stages and phases of labor, labor support techniques
• A knowledge of comfort & relaxation techniques. NOTE there is a separate two hours class that covers will cover a high-level of relaxation and comfort measures in depth)
• Understanding of medical interventions i.e epidurals & c-sections
• Realistic expectations of the immediate postpartum period

Cost: Cost is $75 per couple: Open to anyone regardless of the location of delivery or care provider.

Class Policy: Information provided in this setting is for educational purposes only and not meant to substitute medical care.  Childbirth Concierge reserves the right to reschedule a class due to inclement weather or low attendance; if you are unable to attend the rescheduled class a full refund will be given. 

Cancellation Policy:Full refunds are available up to seven (7) days prior to the start date if initiated by the registrant less a 3% fee.  There are no refunds after class has started.  This class is often sold out.
